Why do most immigrants come to the United States? I believe that most people leave their home country because they have a dream and a clear vision for a better life here in America, the land of opportunity.
New beginnings are the same for all of us. We have to learn how to adapt to new environments, learn the language, and find a job to support our family. Time passes by, and we develop new habits and routines that unfortunately stay the same for most of us. Most immigrants go through their entire life settling for mediocrity. We forget the dreams we used to have when we were younger, because most of us think that our current reality is the only possible outcome.
I believe we all have opportunities to live a better life, where we do NOT live to work but work to live. In my opinion, if we want to work in order to live, we must set new goals that are not based on our past experience or success. When most people set goals they limit them because they do not shoot for more than they have achieved in the past. Do NOT be afraid to dream big! Write your goals down, set a deadline and keep your dreams in front of you at all times.
I think the biggest reason a lot of people don’t set big goals is because they don’t know HOW to do it. In my opinion, if you have a big enough WHY and you believe in yourself, the right people and the perfect situations will line up for you to bring your dreams into reality. Your life is in your hands, and only you can take action to change it for the better!
Don’t be afraid, fear is only in our imagination!
