Before I came to the US, I had never used a credit card. Some people in my country use cash and debit cards to buy something. My country’s tradition is to keep money at home but some people also use a bank. I was very surprised when I came to the US, I didn’t know how and where I could get one. My friend who lives in the USA told me about credit cards. In this country it is very important to use credit cards, if you want to buy a car, buy a home, rent an apartment etc. I have to pay every month the total payment due.

In my opinion you should use more cash than credit cards. You know how much money you spent each month and you save, because you keep your dollars in your hand; it will be a pity spent them. You have to think twice way before you buy something 1) will you really use it? 2) can you afford it?
