It was hard for her, she was leaving all the things she knew and loved. By the time she was at the airport, she hadn’t realized what was going on, or what was going to be. When she saw through the window of the airplane flying over New York City, she knew there was a brand-new life waiting for her to live.
Now she is living like there is no tomorrow, like an immigrant girl trying to fix somewhere, looking for the right place for her. So, she knows she is going to be all right, that she is stronger than she thought and she can do whatever she wants; she can overcome what life wants her to deal with.
She has hope, she’s alive, she is you, she is me.
